Greeting Peace Bridge Families!
Our students have been buzzing with excitement this week as we welcomed the first dustings of snow and all the joy that the beginning of December brings. It has truly been an exciting week at Peace Bridge!
We kicked things off by celebrating our Peace Bridge mascot, Shiver’s, birthday. The school spirit was incredible—Shiver received hundreds of handmade cards, and our classes lined the hallways to cheer him on as he rolled through in his Birthday Wagon! Shiver also surprised students with ice cream and freezies, and many children brought their own stuffed animals to introduce to him, which made the day even more special.
We wrapped up the week with our first All-Star Student Assembly, honouring students who have been showing Respect and Kindness to others and to their environment, as well as those who have been working hard academically and persevering through challenges. Congratulations to this month's All-Star Students!
Peace Bridge is such a wonderful place to be, and we love celebrating what it means to be a Polar Bear every day!

Winter Weather
It looks like we’re in for another cold week, with more snow on the way. As winter weather continues, please make sure your child has snow pants, boots, a hat, mittens or gloves, and a warm coat for outdoor play.
We also know how quickly kids grow and how challenging it can be to keep up with winter gear. Thanks to a generous donation from the Fort Erie Knights of Columbus, we have warm clothing available for any student who needs it. If your family could use something—big or small—please reach out to Miss Krystal in the office or email pbr@dsbn.org. We’re here to help.

Please continue to keep an eye on the PB Parent Council Facebook page to see our winners every day! Our first 5 lucky winners have already been announced, so check out the posts to see if you, or someone you sold a ticket to, is the winner. All our students also automatically have their own name in the draw, so any day of the week could be a student winner from Peace Bridge!

A Message from our PIC
The Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) is hosting the “12 Days of Winter Giveaways” fundraiser from December 1–16 (weekdays only) to support our school community. PIC initiatives fund events, field trips, classroom supplies, clubs, sports equipment, and more. Each student receives one free entry in the prize draw and can sell extra tickets (2 for $10) to family and friends. A package with details, a prize calendar, and a fundraising form will be sent home—forms and funds are due Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Welcome to Kindergarten- DSBN
Peace Bridge Public School is very fortunate to receive charitable funding by volunteering at our local Delta Uncle Sam’s Bingo Hall. We appreciate the opportunities that this initiative enables us to offer our school community through funding from Bingo revenues. The benefits that are offered through this initiative provide our students with various enrichment opportunities that support clubs and competitions, athletic programs, assemblies, presentations, transportation for trips and sporting events and many other resources as determined at our regular meetings.
