All events, teams and clubs will take place during the school day unless otherwise noted.
Each week we will send home a “Weekly Update” on Friday afternoon to inform you of upcoming events, days of significance and important updates from the office.

Student Council
Student Council is starting for grade 7 and 8 students with Ms. Murdoch.
Those who join will participate in the planning and organizing of
school events for all students. We are very excited to bring fun and
inclusive events to Peace Bridge this year. Please encourage your grade 7 and 8
student(s) to join! More details to follow.
Pop Tabs
Ms. Murdoch's grade 7/8 class will be collecting pop tabs beginning on Monday, September 21. All donated pop tabs will be donated to help in making wheel chairs.
Cross Country Running is starting at Peace Bridge Public School!
Practices will start Monday, September 21st, and the first meet is on October 5
Students will run;
Gr 4 - 2.0 km
Gr 5/6 - 2.5 km
Gr 7 - 3.0 km
Gr 8 - 3.5 km
Peace Bridge Public School Choir
Junior /Intermediate choir will begin on Tuesdays and Thursdays first break for students Gd 4-8. In order to join, meet Ms. Goodridge on Tuesday September 22 at the library doors. Please wait for Ms. Goodridge before you enter. Further information to follow.
JK/SK Dental Screening and Fluoride Varnish Applications
Niagara Region Public Health’s Dental Program will be visiting our school on November 11, 2026 to provide FREE dental screening and fluoride varnish to all JK/SK students. Fluoride varnish treatment is a safe and protective coating that helps prevent cavities.
Participation in the dental screening and fluoride varnish program is important for your child’s oral health, even if your child sees the dentist regularly and is covered under insurance.
To give consent, complete the Online Medical History and Consent Form (link #1) by October 23, 2026.
• When asked “Where is your child receiving dental services”, select School (JK or SK Dental Screening and Fluoride Varnish)
What to expect during the visit:
• A registered dental hygienist will check your child’s teeth and apply fluoride varnish
• A letter with your child’s screening results will be sent home, including any referrals/recommendations for follow-up care
Please note: Dental screenings do not replace a full dental examination by a dentist.

Up to Date Records:
Your student(s) brought home a Student Verification Form next week. Please review, make any applicable corrections, sign the back and return to the school with your student(s). Also, if your student(s) has any medications or a Plan of Care, please provide these to the school as soon as possible.
