Happy New Year, Peace Bridge Families!

2026 has arrived, and we are all looking forward to seeing our Peace Bridge Polar Bears tomorrow morning! I sincerely hope you and your family had time to relax and reset over these past two weeks. As a mom with a young family, I fully realise the holidays are always busy with kiddos at home. I also know how much it has meant to your children to have a few extra days with you and those other special, caring adults in their lives. So take a deep breath and know: you did a great job, and your kiddos loved their time with you and all the ways you made your holiday time together special.

A Reminder about Bell Times

Entry: 9:05 am. Duty begins at 8:50 am. Please do not drop off children before 8:50 am, as there is no supervision until then.

Dismissal: 3:25 pm. If you are planning to pick up your child early, please do so before 3:00 pm. The end of the day is busy around the office, and to ensure student safety, those needing to leave early should arrange to do so before 3:00 pm.

A Special Message from our NEW Vice Principal, Ms. McClure

I am very grateful for the opportunity to join the Peace Bridge school community as Vice Principal. After moving to Niagara in 2023 and starting over professionally, DSBN has been incredibly supportive, and I am thankful to be part of a board that truly values people, relationships, and community.

As both an educator and a parent, I understand the importance of feeling confident that your child is known, cared for, and supported every day. Earning the trust of students and families is very important to me, and I prioritize student well-being in all that I do. I sincerely thank you for the warm welcome I have already received and look forward to meeting you in person at school and at upcoming events, and I am truly excited to serve the Peace Bridge community with all my heart, working in partnership with families and staff to support the success and well-being of every student.

Ms. McClure had the opportunity to spend an afternoon here at Peace Bridge before the break, and I was so pleased by how friendly, polite, and warm our students were when meeting Ms. McClure. One student thoughtfully commented, "Wow. I bet your students at your other school are really going to miss you."  Our Polar Bears are truly the best!
