Greetings, PB Families!

It's been an exciting week here at Peace Bridge. Both our Boys and Girls Intermediate Volleyball Teams played in the finals on Wednesday. Our Boys are Consolation Champions, winning three straight sets against Garrison Road. Our Girls made it to the Championship Finals and after winning their first set, lost the next two to Stevensville by narrow margins. Both groups represented Peace Bridge admirably and should be proud of themselves. Our friends at Tito's Pizza and Wings in Fort Erie treated both teams to pizza to celebrate all their success. Thanks to Tito's and thanks again to our amazing coaches, Ms. Sneek, Ms. Patrick, Mr. Cottone, Mr. Lapierre, and Mr. Clarke. Check out our Intermediate Volleyball Team Pictures

Class of the Week

Almost every day on the Morning Announcements, we remind students to "Do Your Best, Do What's Expected, Be Kind and Good Things Happen." Many of our students are making an effort to do just that every single day, but we have a special congratulations going out to Mrs. Wright's Grade 2 Class: our FIRST PB Class of the Week! Mrs. Wright's students have been working hard as learners and have been trying to help one another when someone is discouraged. Their efforts were noticed by various adults in our building. One staff member said, "You can tell how hard they are trying, and they have grown so much since September." Mrs. Wright's class gets to have Shiver, our PB mascot, spend the week in their class. We look forward to sharing some pictures next week of all the fun Shiver has celebrating our amazing Grade 2 students this week!

Have a great week PB Families!

Sincerely,

Liz Bonisteel-Lateef (she/her)
